The dual mono construction lets it deliver full power from the two channels at the same moment, with minimal crosstalk.

The MOSFET output stages work in class A/B with a grounded source scheme, the same one ATC employs in its own active loudspeakers. Low distortion, wide bandwidth and high dynamic range are the aims of the design, together with a neutral rendering that eases its use in different systems. The amplifier has balanced and unbalanced inputs and unbalanced link outputs, useful for passing the signal on to a second amplifier. It is built by hand in the United Kingdom.

Technical features

Power: more than 300 W continuous per channel into 8 Ohm, at 1% distortion with the two channels working

Frequency response: from below 2 Hz to above 400 kHz (-3 dB)

Harmonic distortion: lower than 0.002% at 1 kHz into 8 Ohm, 1 dB under full power

Crosstalk: beyond 100 dB between 10 Hz and 20 kHz

Inputs: one balanced XLR stereo pair and one unbalanced RCA stereo pair

Link outputs: one unbalanced RCA stereo pair

Size: height 142 mm, width 453 mm, depth 338 mm, terminals included

Weight: 23.35 kg
