The tweeter is a 25 mm soft dome with a neodymium magnet and a precision alloy waveguide; the 150 mm woofer is built to SL specification and carries a 75 mm integral soft dome at its centre.

The motor assembly of the woofer weighs 9 kg and is of the short coil, long gap type; the coil is made of flat wire, wound by hand in the factory. The flat impedance curve makes the loudspeaker an easy load for the amplifier. The terminals also take 4 mm plugs and allow a bi-wire connection. The loudspeakers are sold as a pair, in three finishes: Black Ash or Cherry veneer, or Satin Black paint.

Technical features

Drive units: ATC 25 mm soft dome tweeter with neodymium magnet; ATC SL 150 mm woofer

Frequency response: from 54 Hz to 22 kHz (-6 dB); response of the two speakers matched within +/- 0.5 dB

Sensitivity: 85 dB (1 W, 1 m); maximum sound pressure 108 dB

Nominal impedance: 8 Ohm

Recommended amplifier: from 75 to 300 W

Crossover frequency: 2.5 kHz

Dispersion: coherent within +/- 80 degrees horizontally and +/- 10 degrees vertically

Size per speaker: height 438 mm, width 265 mm, depth 300 mm; the grille adds 34 mm

Weight: 17.8 kg per speaker
