It brings together in one chassis the discrete preamplifier circuits derived from the SCA2 preamplifier and the MOSFET class A/B power stages by ATC.

The input stages are discrete, in class A and low in noise; the output ones use discrete MOSFETs. There are five inputs, all stereo RCA, and three RCA outputs: one pre, one for the subwoofer and one for the recorder. A headphone amplifier and the infrared remote control complete the equipment. The unit is built by hand in the United Kingdom.

Technical features

Power: 150 W continuous per channel into 8 Ohm, at 1% distortion with the two channels working

Frequency response: from below 2 Hz to above 280 kHz (-3 dB)

Harmonic distortion: lower than 0.0008% at 1 kHz into 8 Ohm, 1 dB under full power

Signal-to-noise ratio: above 112 dB (IEC A); crosstalk beyond 90 dB between 10 Hz and 20 kHz

Inputs: five RCA stereo pairs; sensitivity 350 mV

Outputs: two preamplified RCA pairs, one RCA pair for the recorder, headphones on a 6.35 mm jack

Size: height 142 mm, width 453 mm, depth 346 mm, terminals included

Weight: 18.3 kg
