It measures 50 × 62 × 22 mm and weighs 91 g.

Poly connects directly to the converter of the Mojo 2 or Mojo, which keeps the audio processing: the phone acts as the remote control, through everyday apps. Listening is through the Mojo's two headphone outputs, or through a home or in-car system with an auxiliary (AUX) input. The casing is precision-machined aluminium with black anodisation, an opaque black window for the wireless signal and silicone feet.

Network, Bluetooth and Micro SD card

Wireless connections are 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay and DLNA, and Poly is Roon Ready. It remembers up to 32 networks and reconnects to them automatically, including phone hotspots when away from home. Where networks, devices or countries do not allow tethering, Poly can create its own hotspot.

The Micro SD card slot, which Chord states has no capacity limit, holds the music library and frees up storage on the phone; a DLNA server and renderer, an SMB server and an MPD player run on the card. Poly also works with desktop and laptop computers and, with common DLNA apps, reaches music stored on a NAS. The manufacturer lists iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows and Mac OS X computers and portable players (DAPs) as supported devices.

Formats, battery and set-up

Poly is compatible with high-resolution audio: PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD from DSD64 to DSD256 as DoP, with DSD playback from the card as well. Among the supported file types the source lists WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG Vorbis, ALAC, WMA and MP3.

The 2,200 mAh rechargeable LiPo batteries give up to 9 hours of playback from a 4-hour charge, through the fast-charging USB circuit; Poly and Mojo can be charged together. Set-up is done from the Gofigure app for iOS and Android; a pin for manual configuration and a Micro-USB to USB Type-A cable are also included.

Technical data

Compatibility: Chord Mojo 2 and Mojo.

Network: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; integrated access point to configure up to 32 networks; hotspot mode.

Playback: Roon, DLNA, AirPlay and Bluetooth.

Micro SD card: DLNA server and renderer, SMB server, MPD player.

Formats: PCM from 44.1 to 768 kHz; DSD from DSD64 to DSD256 as DoP; DSD from card.

File types: WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG Vorbis, ALAC, WMA, MP3.

Battery: 2,200 mAh rechargeable LiPo, over 9 hours of playback, fast charging via USB.

Dimensions: 50 × 62 × 22 mm.

Weight: 91 g.

Finish: black.

Included: Micro-USB to USB Type-A cable, pin for manual configuration.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/Chord-Electronics-Portable-Range-.010_10b8a251-aff4-4951-8b60-424d65606fb8.webp?v=1768489750
