It evolves from the S10 and, like the S1, has four SFP+ ports, in a full-size chassis with a minimalist design.

The HS-CC (Highly Stable Chassis Construction) uses aluminium for the top and side panels and hairline-finished stainless steel for the rear, all on a 3 mm steel base that adds weight and stability. The power section is the brand's Super Clear Dynamic Power Supply and the clock is an ultra-low-jitter NDK unit.

Ports and speed

The four SFP+ ports accept 10 Gbps modules and the DELA C1 direct attach cable; the seven RJ45 ports have Neutrik connectors. A front-panel button changes the speed of every port (RJ45 at 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps; SFP+ at 1 or 10 Gbps) and unused ports can be shut down completely. Colour LEDs on the front show the speed of each port and can be dimmed; the rear LEDs can be turned off with a button. It is built in Japan, in Nagoya.

Technical data

Speed: RJ45 ports 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gbps; SFP+ ports 1/10 Gbps

Terminals: 7 RJ45, 4 SFP+, 1 USB 2.0 (power supply only)

Output current: SFP+ ports max 1.8 A in total (3.3 V); USB port max 0.9 A (5 V)

Power supply: 100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz

Dimensions (W × H × D): 440 × 77 × 353 mm, excluding protruding parts

Weight: approx. 9.5 kg
