It updates the features and performance of the S100 and S100/2 while keeping the compact size: the chassis is half-width, 215 mm. The power supply is built in, of the Clear Dynamic Power Supply type, and there is an IEC inlet on the rear.

There are nine ports: three SFP+/SFP at 10 or 1 Gbps, compatible with the DELA C1 cable, and six RJ45 at 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps, suited to the DELA C100 cable. A USB port supplies power to accessories; it does not transfer data.

Port management and LEDs

Each RJ45 port can be set to off, 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps, and unused ports can be shut down completely, electrically too. Colour LEDs on the front show the speed of each port; a button dims them together with the power LED. On the rear, further LEDs show connection and speed and can be turned off with a button after checking. It is hand-assembled in Japan, in Nagoya.

Technical data

Speed: RJ45 ports 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gbps; SFP+ ports 1/10 Gbps

Terminals: 6 RJ45, 3 SFP+, 1 USB 2.0 (power supply only)

Output current: SFP+ ports max 1.8 A in total (3.3 V); USB port max 0.9 A (5 V)

Power supply: 100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz

Dimensions (W × H × D): 215 × 61 × 274 mm, excluding protruding parts

Weight: approx. 3 kg
