It is the only model of the family with a driver reserved for the middle frequencies: a 15 cm MSP unit with aluminium voice coil and neodymium magnet, housed in a moulded cup whose ribs damp resonances.

At the top sits the Esotar 2i tweeter, with the Hexis inner dome and a larger rear chamber for a more even frequency response. The two 23 cm woofers have bigger magnets, copper voice coils on a glass-fibre former and aramid-fibre spiders. The crossover has been redesigned to suit. The curved multi-layer cabinet is closed by an aluminium front baffle.

Technical features

Three-way bass reflex design, port at the rear

28 mm Esotar 2i tweeter with Hexis

15 cm MSP midrange and two 23 cm MSP woofers

Crossover points at 220 and 4,500 Hz, second-order filters

Sensitivity 88 dB (2.83 V/1 m), nominal impedance 4 Ohm

Response from 28 Hz to 23 kHz within 3 dB

IEC power handling of 390 W

255 x 1330 x 420 mm (W x H x D), 50 kg

Available versions

Sold as a pair, in Black Piano Lacquer, Walnut and Nordic Silver finishes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/dynaudio-contour-60i-black-piano-lacquer-12imw.webp?v=1783875086
