dynaudio-emit-25c
Dynaudio Emit 25C

Dynaudio Emit 25C: 2.5-way centre channel speaker

Emit 25C is the centre channel of the Emit series, the speaker that delivers most of the dialogue in a film. In substance it is an Emit 30 laid horizontally, with the two mid-woofers at the sides of the tweeter: same drivers and same crossover, in a different cabinet and with a specific reflex tuning. This keeps the tonal character consistent with the front and surround speakers of the same series.

The two 14 cm woofers have MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cones made as a single piece with integrated dust cap. The voice coils are light aluminium covered by a thin copper layer, on a glass-fibre former with two layers, and they work with a double ferrite magnet. The Cerotar tweeter carries the Hexis inner dome, which reduces reflections towards the rear of the diaphragm.

Technical features

System: 2.5-way, bass reflex with dual-flared port on the rear

Drivers: 28 mm Cerotar tweeter with Hexis, two 14 cm MSP woofers

Sensitivity: 87 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)

Rated impedance: 4 Ohm

Frequency response: 53 Hz - 25 kHz (+/- 3 dB)

Crossover frequencies: 1000 and 3500 Hz

Dimensions (W x H x D): 550 x 170 x 272 mm

Weight: 11 kg

Available versions

Sold as a single unit, in Black, White and Walnut laminate finishes.
