It is a two-way design: the 18 cm mid-woofer handles bass and midrange, the 28 mm soft-dome tweeter the high frequencies.

The Esotec+ woofer has an MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cone 0.4 mm thick, formed from a single piece, which passes on the movement of the coil through the Balance Ribs. The 52 mm voice coil is aluminium; the spider is aramid fibre and the surround, derived from the Contour series, allows a long throw. The Cerotar tweeter has a soft dome with precision coating and the Hexis inner dome, which shapes the airflow and reduces resonances. Both use strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnets. The cabinet is tapered and rounded, with the screws hidden by rings made as one part.

Technical features

System: 2-way, bass reflex with rear port

Drivers: 28 mm Cerotar tweeter with Hexis, 18 cm MSP woofer

Sensitivity: 86 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)

Rated impedance: 6 Ohm

Frequency response: 40 Hz - 23 kHz (+/- 3 dB)

Crossover: 3200 Hz, second order

Dimensions (W x H x D): 215 x 380 x 307 mm

Weight: 9.9 kg

Available versions

Sold as a pair, in Black, White, Walnut and Light Oak finishes.
