Handing it the lowest frequencies lightens the work of the main loudspeakers, in stereo or multichannel, to the benefit of the midrange too. It has the same footprint as the earlier Sub 250, but with the 300 W amplifier and the functions of the larger Sub 600.

The curved front baffle of double thickness, 37 mm, makes the cabinet more rigid; the driver is a new design, with Contour-level components. Twin RCA inputs and outputs let the signal pass through the subwoofer when the amplifier has no dedicated output, as often happens in stereo systems. The high-pass filter has three positions: off, 60 Hz or 80 Hz.

Technical features

Active subwoofer in a sealed enclosure, 300 W amplifier

23 cm MSP woofer

Response from 22 to 175 Hz within 3 dB

Inputs: one RCA LFE and two RCA stereo; RCA outputs for satellites and for a second subwoofer

Low-pass adjustable between 50 and 150 Hz

Phase at 0 or 180 degrees, automatic switch-on and switch-off

266 x 276 x 320 mm (W x H x D), 10.5 kg

Available versions

Sold individually, in Black and White satin finishes.
