Compared with the original model the look changes, with a satin front baffle that replaces the gloss finish and is less prone to fingerprints, and so does the construction, with work on the crossover, cabinet and wiring.

The 25 mm tweeter is joined by a 170 mm mid-woofer. The passive crossover has been revised with polypropylene capacitors and metal film resistors; additional internal braces stiffen the cabinet and reduce its resonances; the internal wiring is OFC copper. The silver terminal block allows bi-wiring or bi-amplification. The speaker suits both stereo listening and use in a home cinema system. The speakers are sold as a pair, in a Black finish.

Technical features

Configuration: two-way, bass-reflex tuned to 51 Hz

Drive units: 25 mm tweeter; 170 mm mid-woofer

Frequency response: 47 Hz - 25 kHz

Sensitivity: 91 dB

Nominal impedance: 6 Ohm

Power handling: 120 W

Recommended amplifier: from 30 to 120 W

Internal wiring: OFC copper, 2.25 square mm section

Connections: silver terminal block for bi-wiring or bi-amplification

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/elipson-prestige-facet-ii-8b-nero-fronte.jpg?v=1791453896
