It plays records at 33 1/3 or 45 RPM: the Delrin motor pulley has two positions, one for each speed. The synchronous motor is isolated from the chassis by damping materials.

The Ultra tonearm uses low-friction ball bearings on both the vertical and the horizontal plane, and is wired by Cardas Audio from the headshell leads to the gold-plated RCA connectors. The plinth pairs three aluminum plates with an MDF body to increase mass. The Delrin platter has a high mass, which lowers the noise floor, and spins on an inverted hardened-steel bearing that combines steel, bronze and sapphire.

Technical features

Belt drive, speeds 33 1/3 or 45 RPM

AC synchronous motor running at 300 RPM

Straight aluminum Ultra tonearm, 254 mm (10"), on gimbaled bearings

Overhang 18 mm (0.71"), offset angle 22.8 degrees adjustable by +/- 2 degrees

Cartridges accepted by the tonearm: weight from 5 to 10 g

Delrin platter, 33 mm (1.3"), weight 3.1 kg (6.8 lb)

Signal-to-noise ratio of 74 dB; wow and flutter between 0.017% and 0.025%

Dimensions: 500 mm (19.69") x 152 mm (6") x 362 mm (14.25")

Weight: 10.5 kg (23.1 lb)

Available versions

Sold as a single unit, with the UltraTracker cartridge already fitted.
