Nordost regards mains cables as an essential element of the base a system stands on: replacing the ones supplied as standard with components is among the upgrades with the most evident effects.

Its three Micro Mono-Filament conductors, 14 AWG each, are fast, low-loss and covered in FEP. Dielectric effect and propagation delay are kept to a minimum, so current reaches the equipment by the most direct route, while the audio-grade connectors preserve the low source impedance of the mains supply.

Technical features

Conductors: three, 14 AWG each

Material: OFC copper, 99.9999% pure, in 105 strands

FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) insulation

Micro Mono-Filament construction with a mechanically tuned lay

Inductance of 0.124 μH/ft and capacitance of 10 pF/ft

DC resistance: 2.8 Ohm for every 1000 feet

Propagation velocity of 81%

IEC-C15 or IEC-C19 on the equipment side

Available with Schuko or Italian plug: please specify your choice in the order notes.

Available versions

The cable is available in lengths of 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 2.5 m and 3 m.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/products/nordost-Blue-Heaven-Power-Cord-EU-su-videosell-01.jpg?v=1669030396
