The ART surrounds are a Paradigm patent: produced in house and moulded onto the cone, they extend travel and with it the level attainable without distortion. In the middle, the AL-MAC tweeter of aluminium, magnesium and ceramic works behind the perforated PPA lens; RED technology softens diffraction and evens out the response. The two ways cross over at 2.2 kHz.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs on the higher CI Elite range, the Shock-Mount fixing isolates the baskets mechanically from the frame and cuts vibration and resonance between the acoustic section and everything else in the speaker.
