Its on-axis response runs from 70 Hz to 22 kHz, in-room sensitivity is 91.5 dB and it accepts amplifiers of 15 to 120 W, with a 90 W maximum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHigh frequencies are handled by the AL-MAC tweeter, in which aluminium, magnesium and ceramic give a diaphragm that is sturdy, light and naturally damped; the perforated PPA lens aligns its phase and the RED design lowers diffraction, to the benefit of linearity. The woofer uses a CARBON-X cone, rigid and light, with a long-throw voice coil; the ART surround, patented and made in house by Paradigm, is moulded over the cone and allows 3 dB more level without distortion than common surrounds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Shock-Mount system isolates the die-cast aluminium basket from the baffle, and the basket itself has a built-in heat sink that helps power handling and dynamics.
