It uses a 15-inch high-excursion driver, front-firing, with a glass fiber composite cone and a dual voice coil wound in flat aluminum wire. It is driven by the STA-2000D Class D amplifier in a dual-monoblock layout: each monoblock feeds one of the two coils.

The MDF cabinet, with a double-thickness front baffle, has three ports. The three foam plugs supplied give a choice of three tunings: standard with every port open, extended with two ports open, sealed with every port plugged. A 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP manages the whole system; adjustments, including the SVS Auto EQ room correction, are made from the SVS app over Bluetooth or from the rear panel with its OLED display.

Technical features

Driver: 15-inch, front-firing, dual 3-inch voice coil

Amplifier: 2000 W RMS, more than 5000 W peak, Class D

Frequency response (+/-3 dB): 15-180 Hz in standard mode, 13-180 Hz in extended mode, 16-270 Hz in sealed mode

Loading: three ports of 89 mm (3.5 inches)

Inputs: unbalanced RCA at 10 kOhm, balanced XLR at 14 kOhm, 3-12 V trigger and IR on 3.5 mm sockets

Dimensions with grille: 595 x 520 x 727 mm, height x width x depth (23.4 x 20.5 x 28.7 inches)

Weight with grille, unboxed: 69.8 kg (153.9 lb)

Available versions

Sold as a single unit, in Black Ash finish.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/svs-pb-5000-r-evolution-black-ash-fronte.jpg?v=1791475374
