The multi-award winner Brio-R has all the elements needed to become a classic in the hi-fi world. Housed in our special 'halved' case you will find an amplifier capable of delivering 73w per channel into 4ohm with a refined integrated phono stage.
A unique circuit is built around the sizable toroidal transformer, generous power supply componentry, and robust output stage through the use of film capacitors on the signal and in all critical parts of the phono stage. The performances speak for themselves; control, balance and detail make this amp a point of reference.
NEW POWER AMP
Our engineers have developed a new power amplifier using a class A emitter follower driver stage. Based on a pair of Sanken 150W complementary output Darlington transistors, this combination creates a class A emitter follower stage emulation situation with excellent thermal stability.
HIGH QUALITY COMPONENTS
The Brio-R uses high quality components and the great experience of our engineers to achieve the best sonic performance. This has produced the Brio with the best performance and greatest flexibility ever.
NEW POWER SUPPLY
During the development of the Brio-R, Rega revised and improved the circuitry of the low and high current supplies and the coupling and by-pass capacitors. The phono stage has been improved and reflects the latest improvements of the Rega Planar turntables. Input sensitivity has been increased as well as the sub-100Hz frequency response of the phono stage has been revised.
