The single Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e retains Px7 S2's 40 mm bio-cellulose drivers and revises its 24-bit DSP. The e denotes an evolution in sound: Bluetooth 5.2, six microphones and 30-hour battery remain in the same technical class as S2. It should not be confused with Px7 S3 and its later connection platform.

Px7 S3 instead changes to Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX Lossless, eight microphones and five-band EQ. The generational differences are measurable beyond the name.
