The adoption of uncompromising design solutions, such as the presence of a highly shielded power supply from electromagnetic interference and RFI, the use of very high precision and very low noise oscillators, destined respectively for the IT component and for the digital output section, make X50Pro an absolute reference Pure Digital Music Server.
A very rich set of digital connections makes it easy and immediate to connect all your converters and digital components of your Hi-Fi system to the Cocktail Audio X50Pro, which then becomes the central element of your system, a real centralized music management system at 360°.
The High-End vocation of the Cocktail Audio X50Pro, what makes it a Reference class device, is its highly advanced audio stream processing and management system, which can be reproduced in native mode, even in high resolution, with maximum performance possible, be it PCM, MQA or DSD encodings.
X50Pro is a machine with outstanding versatility, which allows you to connect your external Hi-End range DAC converter, using one of the numerous high-precision digital outputs:
- I²S (two HDMI outputs and one RJ45 Out) including 24Bit/192Khz
- Toslink optics (up to 24bit/192KHz)
- Coaxial RCA (75 Ohm) (up to 32bit/384KHz)
- XLR AES/EBU (110 Ohms) (up to 32bit/384KHz)
- USB Audio Class 2.0 (up to 32bit/384KHz and DSD)
Through the digital outputs it is possible to convey digital audio signals up to the maximum resolution of 32bit/384 Khz, therefore without any bit depth or sampling frequency limit.
Through the Audio Class 2.0 USB port, it is possible to connect a DAC converter and also reproduce DSD encoding natively, as well as MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) and PCM.

HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL OUTPUTS
X50Pro is a pure digital source, perfect for audiophiles, as it allows you to connect external audio DAC converters. X50Pro manages audio streams up to 24bit/192Khz both via the TosLink optical digital output, via the RCA coaxial digital output at 75 Ohm, and via the AES/EBU XLR digital output at 110 Ohm.
The adoption of particular specific arrangements on the digital signal path allow the CocktailAUDIO X50Pro to communicate with the external converters with very high precision: you will realize how much better your digital to analog converter (DAC) can sound! All thanks to the absolute quality of the X50Pro digital outputs and the extremely high precision internal clocks, which make it a digital transport of absolute reference.
Furthermore, for the most demanding, not only the advanced asynchronous USB Audio Class 2.0 connection is available but also three (3) I²S digital ports (two of the HDMI type, with distinct pinouts, and one with RJ45 format), through which you can play files even in high resolution, including 24Bit/192Khz, as well as being able to send DSD, MQA encoding (note: the converter must be enabled for native DSD or DoP playback for DSD stream management, and for the MQA stream it must have of corresponding predisposition).
TOSLINK AND RCA COAXIAL DIGITAL INPUTS
With X50Pro you can also connect your external digital playback devices and digitize them on hard disk or pendrive.
For example MiniDISC, DAT, CD Transport, DVD, can be connected and recorded with maximum simplicity.
You have two distinct digital inputs available, all in high resolution:

In all cases, the digital input signal accepted by the CocktailAUDIO X50Pro is up to 24bit/192KHz.
The recognition of the signal, of the native frequency and of the bit depth, takes place completely automatically: X50Pro configures itself, without the need for any manual intervention.

The new Cocktail AUDIO X50Pro is an entirely fanless reference music server, i.e. without fans. The cooling system is totally passive, for total silence of the internal components.
You can listen to your music in optimal conditions, without background noise: if you then decide to install one or two solid state disks (SSD), then the optimization will be truly perfect.
The CocktailAUDIO X50Pro is equipped with two Hard Disk bays, for RAID configurations that keep your data safe.
4 disk configuration modes: JBOD, BIG, Raid 0 and Raid 1, which can be set directly from the user interface (there is no need to open the device to change the RAID setting).UNLIMITED CAPACITY FOR YOUR MUSIC!
The CocktailAUDIO X50Pro is designed to offer you maximum versatility in storing your music library. We have placed no limits on the capacity of the hard drive you can install. X50Pro currently supports TWO (2) SATA Hard Drives up to 8TB each, 3.5″ and 2.5″ simultaneously, including the new Solid State Disks (SSD – Solid State Disk).

STORAGE ON NAS (NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE) OR SHARED NETWORK RESOURCES
You can also install the CocktailAUDIO MusicDB music archive on a shared network drive, such as a NAS or a folder on a computer connected to your local network.
The network connection can take place either via Gigabit Ethernet cable, at very high speed (up to 1,000 Mbps), or also via Wireless Wi-Fi connection (in this case the optional USB Wi-Fi Dongle is required).
The advantage of adopting an external NAS is that of having greater security for your data, as the music will be continuously duplicated, based on the configuration of the chosen NAS (some exist with double disks, others with 4 disks, 8 discs, 16 and so on).
In case you decide to install the MusicDB directly on a NAS, the CD-Ripping or digitizing operations of vinyl or analogue and digital sources will take place directly towards the external archive.
This means that you don't have to install an internal or external USB hard drive: if you already have a NAS, then you already have everything you need to archive liquid music through the CocktailAudio X50Pro!

Configuring the CocktailAudio X50Pro is really simple and intuitive thanks to a large 7″ color TFT LCD display . The resolution of the screen is very high (1024×600 pixels with 65,536 colours) and is perfectly readable even from a distance.
Interacting with the new graphical interface is really gratifying and immediate, also due to the vivid colors and optimal contrast.
The icons are easy to understand and make the X50Pro user interface easy to use. All elements shown on the screen, both textual and graphical, including album art, are drawn in high resolution with a full range of colours.
Through a very pleasant function, you can also show a carousel of images and photographs of your choice on the X50Pro display (or on an external screen, via HDMI connection)
