The 707 S3 places a Carbon Dome in a 165 mm-wide enclosure.
The pair of Bowers & Wilkins 707 S3 speakers puts a 130 mm Continuum bass/midrange driver and a 25 mm Carbon Dome tweeter in each cabinet. It is the smallest of the three 700 S3 standmounts here: both the 706 S3 and 705 S3 use a 165 mm driver and a wider box. Consider the 707 when the available height and width have firm limits.

Inside the compact cabinet
This is a two-way layout, with the Continuum cone covering mids and bass and a decoupled tweeter handling treble. Flowport tunes the enclosure. There is no Solid Body housing above the speaker as on the 705 S3; the dome is in the front baffle. At 300 mm high and 165 mm wide, the 247 mm cabinet depth still needs thought on a shallow shelf.
Beyond the baffle dimensions
Depth becomes 284 mm with grille and terminals, before cable clearance. Each speaker weighs 6.16 kg. Dedicated stands are sold separately. Stable support and symmetrical placement matter in a stereo pair, while the compact format can also serve surround channels in a multichannel layout.
Its 84 dB sensitivity is lower than the 705 S3 and 706 S3's 88 dB, so the same volume setting alone cannot describe attainable level. Response at ±3 dB is 50 Hz-28 kHz, recommended amplification is 30-100 W, and minimum impedance is 4 ohms. The 600 Series 607 S3 has a shallower cabinet, but it also changes to a Titanium Dome tweeter. Its smaller enclosure can make positioning simpler on a stand, but the 247 mm cabinet depth still calls for a proper platform rather than assuming that any narrow shelf will fit the rear connections.
