The M12 from NAD's Master Series combines preamplifier and DAC features, with its analog and digital inputs, powerful and refined 24bit/192kHz D/A conversion section. In evidence the DirectDigital circuitry which brings all the input audio signals into the digital domain and manages them with a 35-bit resolution to the full advantage of noise reduction and general quality.
Particularly rich and diversified connection section: MM and MC phono input, analogue in single ended RCA format and in XLR; dual optical and dual coaxial digital inputs, AES/EBU, USB type B and USB type A (a second USB type A is on the front). Output equipment: analog single-ended RCA and XLR, two subwoofer outputs with integrated active filter, optical and coaxial digital outputs; 12 V trigger in/out, IR in and RS232 connections. Furthermore, three slots are available for as many MDC modules to further expand the connections and to adapt to upcoming standards and formats.
