Integrated amplification, loudspeaker control and sources in a single chassis
Rotel RA-1572 MKII is a Class AB integrated amplifier rated at 120 W per channel into 8 ohms and 200 W per channel into 4 ohms, designed to combine preamplification and power amplification in a complete stereo chain.
The output section is powered by an oversized toroidal transformer with four slit-foil T-Network capacitors and operates through a direct analogue signal path. A premium 32-bit/384 kHz Texas Instruments DAC handles digital sources, while RCA and balanced XLR inputs ensure compatibility with traditional sources. A/B loudspeaker outputs can also serve a second zone and the front panel includes a 3.5 mm headphone output.

Power and control
RA-1572 MKII delivers 120 W per channel into 8 ohms and 200 W per channel into 4 ohms, with declared THD below 0.018%. A damping factor of 300 complements current capability and helps maintain woofer control, particularly as loudspeaker load varies with frequency.
Power supply
An oversized toroidal transformer works with four slit-foil T-Network capacitors. The transformer and filter capacity support the output stage during transients and keep supply voltage stable, so dynamic performance does not rely solely on nominal power.
Conversion and digital inputs
A premium 32-bit/384 kHz Texas Instruments DAC works with PC-USB, coaxial and optical inputs with MQA. Digital sources can therefore connect directly to the integrated amplifier and use its internal conversion, reducing the number of separate components in the chain.
Analogue inputs
RCA and balanced XLR inputs are provided. Line-level sources enter the preamplifier without conversion and share the same volume control, allowing a system to include players, tuners, external DACs and other analogue components.
Vinyl
An MM phono stage is included. A compatible turntable can therefore be connected directly without an external phono preamplifier, keeping vinyl within the same control system.
Connectivity and everyday use
Bluetooth aptX and AAC, Roon Tested, Ethernet and RS232 complement the wired sources. A/B loudspeaker outputs can also serve a second zone and the front panel includes a 3.5 mm headphone output, adapting the amplifier to a modern system without altering the analogue path when these functions are not required.
Chassis and dimensions
The chassis measures 431 x 144 x 358 mm and weighs 13.63 kg. Transformer, heatsinks and circuit boards are arranged to keep sensitive sections away from the main sources of noise and heat, providing a stable mechanical base for the power section.
