SPL Performer s1200

Stereo power amplifier with bipolar transistors and VOLTAiR technology: 2 × 300 W into 8 ohms and 2 × 520 W into 4 ohms.

Performer s1200: the design

The Performer s1200 is SPL's most powerful stereo power amplifier, with a 1,440 VA shielded toroidal transformer. It has XLR and RCA inputs and rear-panel input sensitivity adjustment; the decorative front plate is magnetic and interchangeable.

Like the other SPL components it uses VOLTAiR technology: the audio circuits run on ±60 V rails, with discrete op-amps of SPL's own design and a shielded toroidal transformer.
