The most compact Radia loudspeaker, designed for smaller living spaces
Arcam R15 is a 2-way stand-mount speaker with 130 mm MCC woofer, 25 mm DCC tweeter in an Acoustic Lens waveguide and rear bass reflex; it is supplied as a pair.
R15 is the most compact model in the new Radia loudspeaker range and is intended for shelves, cabinets or dedicated stands in small to medium rooms. It is explicitly supplied as a pair: the retail pack contains two loudspeakers, each weighing 6.8 kg, already intended to form a complete stereo system.

MCC and DCC: cone materials
MCC stands for Micro Ceramic Composite and is the stiff, damped material used for the 130 mm woofer cone. DCC means Deep Ceramic Composite and is used for the 25 mm tweeter dome: these are not separate marketing names, but materials selected to control mass, rigidity and resonance.
Acoustic Lens and dispersion
The DCC tweeter is mounted in an acoustic lens with waveguide, an integral part of the design rather than an accessory. Its geometry controls dispersion and phase alignment so the treble remains more even when listening away from the loudspeaker's exact on-axis position.
Cabinet, crossover and placement
The 2-way crossover integrates the MCC woofer and DCC tweeter in an internally braced cabinet finished in Black Natural Walnut veneer with magnetic grille. The rear bass-reflex port requires suitable wall clearance; each loudspeaker measures 200 x 294 x 245 mm.
