More scale and deeper bass from the larger Radia stand-mount loudspeaker
Arcam R25 is a 2-way stand-mount speaker with 165 mm MCC woofer, 25 mm DCC tweeter in an Acoustic Lens waveguide and response down to 43 Hz; it is supplied as a pair.
R25 retains the compact approach of the Radia range but increases woofer diameter, cabinet volume and low-frequency capability compared with R15. This model is also supplied as a pair: the retail pack contains two 11 kg loudspeakers intended to work together as a larger-scale stand-mount stereo system.

A larger woofer for greater extension
The 165 mm woofer increases radiating area over the 130 mm unit in R15 and takes rated response down to 43 Hz. Its cone uses Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC), a stiff and damped material working with the inverted surround and cast frame to maintain control and reduce coloration.
DCC and Acoustic Lens
The 25 mm tweeter uses Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC), the ceramic material used for the high-frequency dome. Its acoustic lens with waveguide is part of the tweeter design and controls dispersion and phase, helping create more even imaging across different listening positions.
Cabinet, crossover and dimensions
The 2-way crossover is tuned to integrate the 165 mm woofer with the DCC tweeter in a rear-ported, braced cabinet finished in Black Natural Walnut veneer. Arcam specifies 246 x 359 x 323 mm for each loudspeaker, giving greater depth than the distributor's abbreviated figure.
