The dedicated Radia centre for clear dialogue and a coherent front stage
Arcam R35C is a 2-way centre speaker with twin 130 mm MCC woofers, a 25 mm DCC tweeter in an Acoustic Lens waveguide and rear bass reflex.
R35C is not simply an R35 turned horizontally, but a dedicated centre for dialogue, voices and effects tied to the screen. It is sold individually: one unit forms the centre channel and is timbre-matched to R15, R25, R35 and R45 in the Radia range.

A centre designed for the cinema front stage
In multichannel systems the centre carries much of the dialogue and picture-related information. R35C uses two symmetrical woofers around the tweeter to create a stable front stage and maintain continuity as voices or effects move from left and right channels into the centre.
MCC, DCC and Acoustic Lens
The two woofers use Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC), a stiff and damped material for bass and lower-midrange duties. The tweeter uses Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) in the Acoustic Lens waveguide, an integral part of the design for dispersion and phase control.
Matching the Radia range
The 2-way crossover and tonal balance complement the passive models in the same family. R35C can therefore work with R15/R25 as compact front speakers or R35/R45 where greater scale and output are required, maintaining front-stage consistency.
Cabinet, dimensions and installation
The Black Natural Walnut cabinet uses a rear bass-reflex port, magnetic grille and cast driver frames with inverted surrounds. Arcam specifies 595 x 181 x 277 mm in W x H x D order and a 12.3 kg net weight for one unit.
