The Audeze LCD-GX were created to bridge the gap between high-level gaming and audiophile listening, bringing to the world of video games the experience Audeze has gained in designing reference planar magnetic headphones. These are not simple gaming headphones, but a true instrument of sonic precision, capable of offering immersion, realism and absolute control in musical and professional settings too.

The open-back design guarantees a wide, natural soundstage, essential for spatial localisation in competitive video games and for realistic listening to music and soundtracks. Every detail, from the most distant footsteps to dynamic micro-variations, is reproduced with clarity and coherence, without digital tricks or invasive processing.

Audeze planar technology for total immersion

At the heart of the LCD-GX is the 106 mm planar magnetic transducer, based on an ultra-thin Uniforce™ diaphragm and a Fluxor™ magnetic structure. This architecture allows an extremely fast response and very low distortion, maintaining a sound that is natural, open and free from colouration.

The extended frequency response from 10 Hz to 50 kHz ensures deep, controlled bass, accurate mids and airy highs, ideal not only for gaming but also for mixing, editing and critical listening. With an impedance of 20 ohm and a sensitivity of 100 dB/1mW, the LCD-GX can be driven by PCs, consoles and portable devices, while benefiting from dedicated DACs or amplifiers for optimal performance.

Clear communication and maximum compatibility

Designed for competitive gaming and streaming as well, the Audeze LCD-GX include a detachable directional boom microphone with effective reduction of ambient noise. The voice is clear, natural and always intelligible, even in noisy environments or during intense gaming sessions.

The package includes a 3.5 mm TRRS cable for use with the microphone, compatible with PC, Mac, consoles and mobile devices, as well as a standard LCD cable without microphone and an audio/microphone splitter for maximum connection flexibility. A rigid travel case completes the set, making the LCD-GX suitable also for those who travel frequently.

Audiophile comfort for prolonged sessions

Handmade in California, the LCD-GX adopt an ultra-light magnesium structure, with a weight kept down to 454 grams. The open-cell foam earpads guarantee breathability and constant comfort, while the suspension headband distributes pressure evenly, reducing fatigue even after many hours of continuous use.
