Ultra-low distortion conductive design

AudioQuest Type 9 is a premium speaker cable designed for Hi-Fi and high-end systems requiring maximum transparency and control. It uses Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, a form of ultra-pure copper with an extremely smooth surface to reduce grain distortion and improve microdynamics. The solid-core conductor construction eliminates the internal electrical interactions typical of multi-strand cables, preserving tonal coherence and soundstage focus. The result is cleaner, more detailed, and more three-dimensional sound.

Star-Quad geometry and impedance control

The Star-Quad Geometry configuration dramatically reduces inductance and improves load stability for the amplifier. This translates into greater bass control and improved transient response. FEP (Fluoro-Polymer) insulation ensures an extremely low dielectric constant, limiting energy absorption. The DBS 72V (Dielectric-Bias System) polarizes the insulation, further reducing dielectric distortion and improving signal clarity.

Electrical stability and long-distance performance
