A touchscreen controller dedicated to home cinema environments
AVA Cinema Remote is a touchscreen controller for AVA OS with a 5.5" IPS display, Android 11, quad-core processor, 32 GB of memory, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.
The format is designed to bring AV system control and useful home theatre applications together in a single device. The larger display provides more room than a conventional remote for graphical interfaces and contextual commands, while the Android platform, wireless connectivity and rechargeable battery support flexible use within customised installations. The product family model code is AVA-RM-RX2-US, with the final suffix identifying the finish.

Display for AV control
The 5.5" IPS display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution provides a generous surface for menus, commands and interfaces dedicated to AV systems. The touchscreen brings many functions onto the same device, reducing the need to use separate remotes for different sources and room functions.
Android 11 and Google Play Store
Cinema Remote runs Android 11 and allows applications to be installed from the Google Play Store. Apps can therefore complement AVA OS control and make compatible services and interfaces available directly on the remote, keeping the user experience focused on a single portable device.
Processor and memory
The 2 GHz quad-core processor supports the interface and applications, while 32 GB of internal memory accommodates the operating system and software. The specification is intended for continuous home cinema use, where responsive operation and immediate access to controls are integral to the experience.
Connectivity and Kiosk mode
Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC provide several ways to communicate with the network and compatible devices. Kiosk mode allows the controller to be locked to a specific app, useful when Cinema Remote needs to open consistently on the same dedicated interface for the installed system.
Construction and battery life
The anodised aluminium alloy body protects the electronics and suits a device intended for everyday handling. The 3200 mAh rechargeable battery supports extended sessions, while Google Assistant integration adds compatible voice-control functions.
AVA OS and Nano Brain integration
Cinema Remote integrates AVA OS to control TV, audio, lighting, shades, climate and other home functions from one interface. In simpler installations it can control IP devices directly; when a project includes multiple remotes, hidden equipment or scheduled actions, Nano Brain can host the project and keep it synchronised across the system.
