Eight hours with ANC and 12 mm drivers for everyday listening.
True wireless earbuds with a USB-C case and multipoint connection.
The single Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 product contains two earbuds and their charging case. Each earbud has a 12 mm bio-cellulose driver and three microphones for calls and active noise cancellation. Compared with Pi8, Pi6 offers longer earbud battery life and a simpler EQ and case arrangement.
Key features
- True wireless ANC earbuds with 12 mm bio-cellulose driver and three microphones per side
- Bluetooth 5.4, aptX Adaptive, aptX Classic, AAC and SBC; multipoint
- Up to 8 hours with ANC plus 16 from case; 15 minutes charging gives 2 hours
- Two-band EQ, 24-bit audio connection and USB-C charging
- IP54 earbuds; 7 g each, 46 g charging case
Connection and control
Bluetooth 5.4 supports aptX Adaptive, aptX Classic, AAC and SBC with multipoint pairing. A 24-bit audio connection and two-band EQ allow sound adjustment. Noise cancellation helps during travel, while the microphones also serve calls. The available codec depends on the source device.
Battery and use
Battery life reaches 8 hours with ANC on, with another 16 hours from the case. A 15-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of listening and the stated full charge time is 2 hours. The IP54 earbuds weigh 7 g each and include four sizes of ear tips. The 46 g case charges over USB-C, without wireless charging.
Pi8 changes to Carbon Cone drivers, five-band EQ and a case that can retransmit audio from USB-C or an analogue connection; Pi6 lacks that feature. If single-charge ANC endurance matters more, Pi6's 8 hours exceeds Pi8's 6.5 hours. These are measurable differences beyond driver material.
