Bach/ Goldberg Variationen: the album
The story goes that Count Keyserling, unable to sleep, asked Bach for music his harpsichordist Johann Gottlieb Goldberg could play at night: that is how the variations bearing his name came about.
The 2023 edition includes Benedek Horvath's short film The Fourth Voice, inspired by the variations, and a 24-page booklet.
