4x4 HDMI 2.0 matrix with audio breakout and resolution scaling
The Blustream CMX44CS V2 is a 4x4 HDMI matrix from the Contractor series: four sources can be sent freely to four screens, each with its own selection.
It handles 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 with HDR and HDCP 2.2, covering every resolution up to 4K 60Hz in 4:4:4. If one screen only accepts 4K 4:2:0 or 1080p, the matrix lowers the signal on that output alone and leaves full 4K to the others. It extracts each zone's audio from HDMI simultaneously on an optical output and on a balanced or unbalanced analogue output, so every room can have its own amplifier. It is controlled from the front panel, IR remote, RS-232 serial, TCP/IP network and web interface, and also routes IR signals. The HDMI connectors lock, so a cable cannot slip out. It suits residential and commercial systems with four sources and four screens, and mounts in a rack with the kit supplied.
