Managed low-voltage power distribution unit with eight outputs
The PWR8VDC is a smart rack PDU that powers up to eight low-voltage devices, measuring consumption and switching every single output on or off.
It takes mains power from an IEC C14 inlet and spreads it across eight terminal outputs, each adjustable to 5, 9, 12, 18 or 24 V with a maximum of 30 W, plus eight managed USB-A ports. Voltage, current, power and energy used can be read for every output. The eight-channel watchdog checks connected devices via ICMP or TCP and restarts them automatically if they stop responding (from firmware 1.5.0). It is managed over IP, with two ports for service continuity and SSL connection, over RS-232, from the front buttons or through relays and sensors tied to control systems or a BMS. Schedules, power-up sequences and password-protected remote access are handled in the web interface.
