Ultra-compact satellite speaker, sold singly
The Cambridge Audio MSX10 is a small passive satellite speaker for anyone moving beyond a smart speaker or upgrading television sound without filling the room with boxes: it brings real channel separation to spaces where traditional speakers would not fit. The price is for a single speaker: two are needed for stereo listening.
It measures just 79 x 79 x 97 mm (width, height, depth) and weighs 0.43 kg. It sits on a shelf or a cabinet, fixes to the wall or mounts on a stand; the box includes the wall bracket and rubber feet.
BMR driver with dispersion up to 180°
At the heart of the MSX10 is a 2.25-inch full-range Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) driver, which combines the pistonic action of a dynamic drive unit with bending-wave dispersion. Where a traditional compact speaker projects sound forward, the MSX10 spreads it across up to 180°: music fills the room evenly and listening no longer depends on a single sweet spot.
The driver's long throw increases sound pressure and bass output while keeping control. Frequency response runs from 150 Hz to 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of 86 dB (2.83 V).
Partnering and system growth
With an impedance of 8 ohms and recommended amplifier power from 25 to 200 W, the MSX10 connects easily to a stereo amplifier or an AV receiver. One pair forms a minimal stereo system; adding more satellites builds up to a surround system, and an MSX Sub 200 or MSX Sub 300 subwoofer completes the low end.
The enclosure is reinforced with die-cast aluminium parts, which reduce distortion and improve durability.
Finishes and accessories
The MSX10 is available in matte black and matte white, with a finish that matches the latest Cambridge Audio products.
The box contains one speaker, one wall bracket, the rubber feet, the quick start guide and the registration card.
