EVO3 Optimum: the design
At the heart of EVO3 Optimum are three silver-plated OCC copper conductors: each strand has a square section, so the wires pack more closely. OCC copper is purer than conventional OFC, more flexible and more resistant to fatigue and corrosion.
Insulation is FEP; the three gently twisted conductors are surrounded by cotton filler and a Mylar wrap, then by an OFC copper braid that screens high frequencies. This is the cable IsoTek recommends for the largest power amplifiers.
