Description
FIBBR ULTRA PRO
With the advent of 4K video with HDR or Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, and high-resolution LPCM 24/96K audio tracks, the amount of data transmitted over an HDMI cable has tripled. Traditional copper cables are no longer adequate.
The solution is to convert HDMI signals to optical signals and send them through a glass optical fiber at the speed of light.
FIBBR ULTRA PRO2 Series HDMI cables are capable of carrying native, uncompressed 4K content at 21 Gbps without any loss or interference.
Ultra PRO 2 is among the first fiber optic cables on the market to be ARC CEC (Audio Return Channel) compatible
DESCRIPTION:
FIBBR ULTRA PRO 2 HDMI cables are constructed from the highest quality glass fiber, supplied exclusively by YOFC, the largest fiber manufacturer in the world.
ULTRA PRO 2 delivers a bandwidth of up to 21 Gbps, 7 Gbps per channel. It supports 12-bit color depth at 4K 4:4:4 60 Hz.
Ideal for High Dynamic Range applications.
Proprietary BendRobust™ technology allows the fiber to be bent 180 degrees, ensuring flexibility and durability under extreme conditions without signal interruption.
FIBBR ULTRA PRO 2 is a hybrid cable: audio and video signals are transmitted over unidirectional optical fiber, while copper conductors are used for +5V power, EDID controls and HDCP authentication.
Cable installation is made easy by the source and destination (display) connectors being clearly marked. The source connector features an LED that confirms its operating status. The display connector also features an additional indicator light.
SIMPLER THAN ANY HDMI EXTENDER
The converters are housed inside the connectors, so there's no need for external repeaters. Furthermore, there's no need for an external power supply that would require additional power supplies or patch cables.
The FIBBR ULTRA PRO 2 cable completely eliminates weak points: in a typical installation with HDMI repeaters there are normally 4 HDMI connections (source – transmitter and receiver – display) plus two RJ45 connectors and 1 or 2 power supplies to the repeaters.
With ULTRA PRO 2, source-display connections are direct and easily inspected. Troubleshooting is extremely simple.
TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANTAGES
YOFC is the world's largest fiber optic cable supplier, and its subsidiary FIBBR is the leading supplier of active optical cables in the consumer electronics industry.
The ULTRA PRO cable has the lowest bend radius on the market, the lowest attenuation, is thin, lightweight, and fire-resistant. It is constructed with halogen-free materials and complies with RoHS/REACH standards.
