PoE+ wall-mounted iPad as a fixed panel for automation and meeting rooms
IPORT Surface Mount System integrates iPad into the wall with a dedicated bezel, continuous power and concealed cabling.
The single IPORT Surface Mount System is intended for an iPad that remains installed as a smart-home panel, room scheduler, kiosk or Control4 interface. The bezel forms part of the mounting and locking system, while the PoE+ adapter and USB-C connection deliver power and, where supported, wired networking over a single Cat 5 run.

No CONNECT Case is required
Surface Mount encloses the tablet directly in a bezel matched to its physical format. It therefore differs from WallStation, which requires CONNECT PRO Case and keeps iPad removable. Surface Mount suits projects where the tablet becomes a permanent part of the architecture rather than leaving the wall.
Why PoE+ matters to the installer
Delivering power and network over the same cable reduces visible power supplies and dependence on Wi-Fi. In smart-home or corporate systems, a wired connection makes panel operation more predictable and simplifies service of the control point.
Compatibility updated for current generations
The current range also supports iPad A16, iPad mini A17 Pro and iPad Air M2, M3 and M4, alongside earlier supported devices. Each bezel remains specific to a particular chassis and size, so the correct Part Number is still required when the iPad format changes while the PoE infrastructure can remain in place.
