The single Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 is an over-ear headphone with 40 mm bio-cellulose dynamic drivers. Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive and ANC sit alongside USB-C audio. Against Px7 S2e, the core hardware and battery life are similar: the later S2e chiefly changes digital sound processing.

Noise control
Four microphones serve ANC and two handle calls. Ambient mode admits outside sound when needed, while a sensor detects wear. Codecs include aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC, depending on the source too. Audio can use USB-C or the supplied USB-C-to-3.5 mm cable.
Battery and choice
The battery reaches 30 hours; a 15-minute charge yields 7 hours playback. Weight is 307 g without its case. Px7 S3 moves to Bluetooth 5.3, aptX Lossless, eight microphones and five-band EQ: these are not S2 features. The Px8 of the same generation instead changes to Carbon Cone drivers and different materials.
