The DRA-900H combines 100W per channel, six HDMI inputs, HEOS, MM phono and two subwoofers for a stereo system connected to video.
The DRA-900H is a stereo receiver rather than a multichannel AVR. It retains two main channels and two subwoofer outputs while integrating HDMI switching for televisions, consoles and video players. Its 100W per channel into 8 ohms exceeds the output of lower connected PMA models. HEOS manages streaming and multi-room audio, while the MM phono input accepts a turntable.

Role in the system
The video section supports 8K/60 and 4K/120 on three compatible inputs, together with VRR, ALLM and HDR. eARC receives television audio over one cable without an external extractor. The layout remains stereo and does not decode a surround system with centre or rear channels.
It suits listeners prioritising music while owning several HDMI sources. The PMA-900HNE follows a more purely hi-fi approach with less output, while an AVC model is required for Dolby Atmos and multiple surround speakers. The DRA-900H occupies the space between those two worlds.
The two subwoofer outputs carry the same programme but simplify physical connection of a 2.2 layout. Two sets of speaker terminals and an analogue second zone are also provided. In a mixed music-and-TV system these details matter more than surround formats: the aim is to retain a front stereo image while adding video and bass management.
The phono input accepts MM cartridges, while digital sources can use HDMI, optical, coaxial or network connections. This variety suits a living room with mixed equipment. There is no CD mechanism, so disc owners must add a DCD player or choose a compact RCD system with an integrated drive.
