JBL Stage 260W

JBL Stage 260W: rectangular in-wall speaker with a 165 mm woofer and HDI waveguide

The Stage 260W is the wall model of the Stage range in the 165 mm size. Compared with its ceiling siblings it is rectangular, has an HDI (High-Definition Imaging) waveguide in front of the tweeter and needs less depth behind the wall. It is supplied individually.

The layout is two-way: a woofer with polycellulose cone and a 25 mm tweeter with aluminium dome, fitted with an acoustic lens and loaded by the HDI waveguide, whose geometry is patented. JBL states that these elements, together with the rigid baffle and its smoothed profile, serve to obtain clear, accurate sound. The crossover carries air-core inductors and Mylar capacitors.
