A discreet loudspeaker that does not go unnoticed?
The 5010 bookshelf speaker is small enough to not disturb the harmony of your space, but its sound is sure to turn heads. With out-of-this-world performance, this speaker will make you vibrate with emotion wherever you place it.
The revolution in stereo and home cinema speakers.
The new 5000 series from Q Acoustics is a range of stereo and home cinema speakers that will redefine your perceptions of how a speaker can look and sound. Embodying a significant advance in driver design, the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/bass driver elevates the 5000 Series beyond any rival.
Incorporating innovative cabinet technology first used in the company's flagship Concept series, the 5000 Series is as seamless on the inside as it is sophisticated and contemporary on the outside.
Sophisticated and contemporary design
The revolutionary nature of the C3 Continuous Curved ConeTM is also reflected in the minimalist design of the 5000 Series, with its sophisticated yet contemporary lines tending towards the elegant form of the latest Concept loudspeaker series. The facades are laminated with a layer of butyl rubber and a black acrylic board, not only to ensure a damping layer to suppress the vibrations that occur, but also to offer an attractive aesthetic.
C3 Continuous Curved Cone™
for better management of low frequencies.
At the heart of the new mid/bass driver design is the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™. The geometry of the cone requires good piston force for optimal performance .
The magnets are coupled to large coils to increase piston force, resulting in a 50% increase in power handling and control over another driver. The result is an improvement in the dynamic range of the speaker, especially in the handling of low frequencies.
Sealed and isolated high-frequency driver design for better audio quality.
Based on the design principle of the latest Concept Series tweeter , the high-frequency driver unit is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated (floating) to prevent internal pressure variations from inside the cabinet and the mid/range driver. adjacent bass driver .
The internal enclosure is carefully vented for less distortion , with a lower crossover point.
The revolution in mid/bass driver components
A true componentry revolution in mid/bass driver design, the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile is the result of extensive research and expert engineering to combine the bass performance benefits of a traditional tapered cone with the mid/high frequency control of a funnel cone.
By creating a smooth continuous single curve profile, the benefits are clear. Its excellent dispersion, together with its well-controlled frequency response and low harmonic distortion, allows for smoother integration with the tweeter .
Deep bass dynamics are also superior, and this, together with a more precise and dampened bass sound, allows for greater flexibility in positioning the speakers close to the walls of the listening room.

From the table, it can be seen that the 5020 model has a larger woofer unit and effective volume, suggesting that it may be capable of producing more powerful and deeper bass.
It also has a higher recommended amplifier power, which means it may require more power for optimal performance.
However, the 5010 model has a slightly higher sensitivity, meaning it may be slightly more efficient at converting electrical energy into sound.
