150 Series sound in an on-wall monitor just over 10 cm deep
MK Sound MP150 is the 150 Series on-wall monitor with twin 5.25-inch woofers, three 1-inch tweeters and 77 Hz-20 kHz response.
MK Sound MP150 belongs to the 150 Series and is designed for front and centre channels where wall mounting is a priority. It brings 150 Series components and technologies into a shallower cabinet with a crossover optimised for wall-boundary effects. Right/C and Left/C variants are mirror-imaged, allowing the correct geometry to be maintained at either side of the screen or in centre-channel use. The low-compression professional tweeter follows the same principle used in MK Sound studio monitors; twin 5.25-inch woofers retain high dynamics within a shallow on-wall cabinet.

Acoustic design
The configuration uses twin 5.25-inch woofers and a vertical array of three 1-inch soft-dome tweeters. Rated response is 77 Hz-20 kHz, sensitivity is 90 dB and nominal impedance is 4 ohms. The model is offered in mirror-image Right/C and Left/C variants: each variant is one individual loudspeaker, selected according to its position relative to the screen. A stereo front therefore requires two complementary units.
Role in the system
Mirror-image versions optimise placement at either side of the screen and maintain symmetry across the LCR front stage. MP150 can also serve as a centre speaker while retaining the same tonal signature as the main channels. The 150 Series uses a triple-tweeter array and twin woofers with a low crossover point, designed for wide horizontal dispersion and more controlled vertical dispersion to reduce floor and ceiling reflections.
Crossover and timbre matching
The Phase-Focused Crossover is designed to compensate for wall placement while preserving the timing, focus and intelligibility associated with the 150 Series.
Installation and dimensions
The cabinet uses a 6-degree angled baffle and weighs 7.9 kg. Its shallow depth allows installation beside a screen without the bulk of a conventional monitor.
Construction and finishes
Construction retains professional components in a domestic on-wall format. Available finishes are Black Satin or White Satin.
