Dorpo UHP3001: rack-size 8K media player with a SATA drive bay
The UHP3001 is the Dorpo 8K media player with a full-width 430 mm chassis, intended for custom home theatre installations and for mounting in a 19-inch rack, yet equally suited to a hi-fi shelf. It plays films and music from the network, from USB media and from the SATA disk that slides into the internal bay, and it hosts streaming apps. Compared with the X3 and X300 it has more memory, an input for an external infrared receiver and an internal two-channel power supply.
The processor is the five-core Amlogic S928X-K, built at 12 nm, rated at 3.2 TOPS and paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU; LPDDR4X memory is 8 GB, eMMC storage 64 GB. The custom low-ripple NXP power supply has separate modules, one for the motherboard and one for the disk. The internal structure is entirely metal. FunplayUI 2.0, which runs on Android 11, is operated with the supplied remote, with the dp SmartController app or with a home automation system.

The analogue output delivers 2.1 Vrms, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 103 dB, dynamic range beyond 99 dB and crosstalk better than 114 dB, measured at 1 kHz. Mains input from 100 to 240 V, 50-60 Hz.
