Focal Sopra N°3 - Finitura Speciale

Focal Sopra N°3 in wood: 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker

The largest model of the series: compared with the Sopra N°2 it has 21 cm W woofers instead of 18 cm ones, for more powerful and extended bass, still with the 16.5 cm W midrange.

The Sopra series brings many solutions from the Utopia line into a smaller size: the 27 mm pure beryllium inverted-dome tweeter, loaded at the rear by the IHL system (Infinite Horn Loading), and the W sandwich cones. The midrange has TMD suspension and an NIC motor, two measures that lower distortion.

Cabinet

A central polyurethane section tilts the upper and lower parts of the cabinet towards each other, so the drivers converge on the listening position (Focus Time). The cabinets are built in France by Focal's cabinet-makers and topped with tempered glass.
