CHR-C-M compact ceiling TV hinge for marine interiors, 40" to 65" screens
CHR-C-M is the compact ceiling TV hinge by Future Automation for indoor marine settings: a motorised mechanism that swings televisions between 40" and 65" down from the ceiling by as much as 100°.
While not being used, the mechanism is held shut by marine locks. Its lower face is prepared to take a panel, so that the finish of the ceiling around it can be carried across. It is delivered as a single unit prepared for mounting, which leaves fewer chances for mistakes during fitting.
Key features
- Maximum rotation of 100°, with a limit that can be programmed at 90°
- Marine locks that hold the closed mechanism still
- Limit switches that adjust themselves at the closed position, for faster set-up
- Mechanical and electrical recovery supplied, so the system can be reached safely if the third-party control has a fault
- Supported VESA patterns: 200, 300 and 400 across and in height
- Maximum weight 50 kg, counting the added ceiling panel, which may weigh 10 kg at most
- White RAL9910 satin finish, other finishes on request
Available sizes
There are three sizes: CHR4-C-M for screens of 50" at most, with maximum dimensions of 1130 mm in width and 680 mm in height; CHR5-C-M reaching 58", 1330 mm by 800 mm; CHR6-C-M reaching 65", 1530 mm by 920 mm. For all of them the television may be at most 50 mm deep. The mechanism measures 1081 × 1624 × 145 mm in the CHR4-C-M, 1202 × 1824 × 145 mm in the CHR5-C-M and 1322 × 2024 × 145 mm in the CHR6-C-M.
Control and integration
The hinge is controlled by IR remote, through RS232 and by contact closure. The control box is external, rated IP66, and is linked to the mechanism by a 3 m loom. The power supply required is 110 to 240 V alternating current, at 50 or 60 Hz.
