Fyne Audio F500SP

Fyne Audio F500SP: 2-way standmount speakers with a 150 mm SP IsoFlare driver

The F500SP is the most compact speaker in the Special Production range, which is made in the UK. It descends from the F500 and gains a dedicated IsoFlare driver, a tuned crossover and the BassTrax port arrangement taken from the F700 range. Sold as a pair.

The 150 mm SP IsoFlare unit is a full-range point source. Its multi-fibre cone is driven by a motor with two magnets and carries a FyneFlute surround, which cuts cone resonances at the edge. Low frequencies leave through a port facing the floor and meet the BassTrax Tractrix diffuser. The bi-wire terminal panel includes a fifth post that grounds the driver chassis against radio-frequency interference. An anodised aluminium plinth and a diamond-cut aluminium trim around the driver complete the cabinet.
