Fyne Audio F57SP-8: 2.5-way centre channel speaker built around a 200 mm IsoFlare driver
The Fyne Audio F57SP-8 is a centre channel speaker intended for the biggest home theatre and multichannel music set-ups. Fyne Audio names the F502SP floorstanders and the bigger models of the F700 Series as its natural partners. It is sold singly.
The speaker uses a 200 mm IsoFlare point source unit made up of a multi-fibre cone, a FyneFlute surround, a 25 mm compression tweeter with magnesium dome, and a magnet in neodymium. Beside it sit a 200 mm bass driver and a passive radiator (ABR) of equal size, both fitted with multi-fibre cones and FyneFlute surrounds. The damping of the ABR can be adjusted between two settings: one for free-space placement and one for placement close to a boundary. The enclosure is pressed high-density MDF with internal bracing.
