2-way floorstanding loudspeaker built around a 380 mm IsoFlare driver
Vintage Classic Gold XV SP is a 2-way floorstanding loudspeaker that Fyne Audio describes as the flagship of the Vintage Classic Gold SP range. It is aimed at listeners who want deep bass together with a wide soundstage. Sold as a pair.
The whole audio band is handled by one 380 mm IsoFlare point source unit: its bass and midrange cone uses multi-fibre material and a FyneFlute surround, while a compression tweeter with a 75 mm titanium dome sits at the centre, powered by a neodymium magnet. The large cabinet is built from birch plywood of high density and braced inside to keep resonances under control. The reflex port fires downwards, with twin-cavity loading and the BassTrax Tractrix diffuser. The trim carries gold accents and the signature of Dr. Paul Mills.
