Gallo Acoustics Micro: full-range spherical mini satellite loudspeaker
The Micro is the classic Gallo Acoustics design, presented by the manufacturer as the first small high-end loudspeaker: this is its most recent generation. Everything sits inside an entirely metal sphere 4 inches in diameter, with a single 3-inch full-range drive unit developed specifically for it. There is no crossover.
The sphere is made of mild steel, the cone of a Mical polypropylene compound, and the terminal section has been redesigned. The box contains the new Isolation2 accessory, for mounting on a surface. The Micro can be placed on a shelf, on a wall, on a ceiling or on a floor stand; the stated frequency response depends on the position: it starts at 120 Hz on a shelf and at 100 Hz in the other cases, always extending to 18 kHz.
