Gallo Acoustics Micro SE: spherical mini loudspeaker with a flat-diaphragm transducer
The Micro SE is the high-performance version of the classic Gallo Acoustics Micro. What sets it apart is the transducer: a proprietary 3-inch unit with a flat diaphragm and very wide dispersion, built as a sandwich structure in honeycomb aluminium. It works with no crossover inside an entirely metal sphere 4 inches in diameter.
The enclosure is in mild steel and stainless steel. The terminal section is a new design and the Isolation2 accessory, for installation on a surface, is supplied. The stated frequency response reaches 22 kHz and at the low end depends on the mounting: from 100 Hz on a wall or a floor stand, from 120 Hz with the isolation ring or a table base.
